Christian Robinson
Christian Robinson, USATF II, is a specialist in sprints, sprint assessment, and force-velocity profiles. He has 20 years of experience educating and mentoring individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds and abilities.
Christian's research interests lie in the relationships between physiological and biomechanical factors that affect performance. His experiences include working with athletes at the high school, recreational, collegiate, and professional levels, performing artists, and fellow coaches and educators.
Both Christian and his wife’s long-term plan is to develop a comprehensive training center that utilizes a team approach to health, wellness, prevention, and performance. Research, assessment, and testing will be integrated with training plans to give athletes every possible advantage in their personal or professional goals.
Currently, Sprint Academy provides individualized programs for local and international athletes. Other services include individual and group sprint testing, assessment, and training, injury mitigation and rehabilitation, and nutritional consultations and programs (Sprint Academy is partnered with a Registered Dietitian for all nutrition consults and programs).
In addition, Christian is a certified Phantom Camera (Vision Research) technician and movement specialist. He uses high-speed imagery, science, and technology to help coaches and athletes perfect the art of their craft.
Christian is passionate about helping those with a desire to learn and has worked with athletes ranging in age and skill level from middle-school to post collegiate. Most importantly, his goal is to equip students with tools that will allow them to not only achieve their goals, but truly understand and master the processes that will guide them to increasing levels of success, regardless of where they start or where they aspire to go.
